Match Play League: Week 1 Recap

Week 1 of Disc Golf Chicago’s Match Play League is now in the books! We hit up Katherine Legge Memorial in Hinsdale for a rainy round.

This week, we had a lot of great matches with wins going to Brad Cook, Quinten Thorsen, Ryan Forrest and Tyler Harstock in the Upper Division. In the lower division, Jeremy Inabinet, Eric Savoie and Miguel Villa all took down matches. You can see the full standings above.

Brad Cook also aced hole 13, taking home a whopping $24 from the ace pot.

Next week (Saturday, May 22) we will be at 50-Acre Park in Evergreen Park. Sign ups are from 10:30-11:00 and tee off starts at 11:15. Tags are necessary and are $10, and the round is $10.
